Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations

Job Responsibilities: - Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all custodian operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements. This involves a thorough understanding of applicable laws and regulations and applying this knowledge to maintain compliance. - Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The role includes developing and updating policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with regulatory standards and best practices. This task requires continuous monitoring and evaluation of existing policies to identify areas that require improvement or updating. - Identify, monitor, and manage compliance risks: The candidate will need to proactively identify potential compliance risks, monitor these risks, and implement strategies to manage and mitigate them effectively. - Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The candidate will oversee the monitoring of custodian transactions to detect any suspicious activities. This includes preparing and submitting reports on suspicious activities as required by regulations. - Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: It is essential for the candidate to provide ongoing training and awareness sessions to team members regarding new or updated regulations to ensure everyone is informed and compliant. - Escalate and report compliance matters: The candidate will be responsible for escalating and reporting any compliance-related issues to the appropriate authorities or management as required. - Liaise with regulators, police, and prosecutors during inspections and inquiries: The role requires interaction with regulators, law enforcement, and legal authorities during inspections and inquiries, ensuring cooperation and compliance with all requests.

Education and Experience Information: - Bachelor's degree in law, finance, or accounting is required. - Professional certification in compliance is considered an advantage. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in securities services fund compliance is preferable, or experience in risk management in a leadership role. - Strong background in banking, financial services, or regulatory institutions is necessary.
