Responsibilities
Monitor performance and availability of all applications (desktop, web, mobile, background jobs).
Perform small bug fixes and minor enhancements.
Collaborate with development teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Maintain and update documentation related to support procedures and known issues.
Ensure high availability and reliability of applications hosted on IIS and Azure Kubernetes.
Support deployment and configuration of applications across environments.
Generate daily operational reports, including: Application health and uptime, Performance metrics (e.g., response time, resource usage), Number of logged-in users per application, Incident logs and resolutions, Daily highlights and summary of key events, issues, and actions taken
Prepare weekly summary reports highlighting: Trends and recurring issues, Performance insights, Number of logged-in users per application (daily average and peak), Static code analysis findings, Weekly highlights and summary of overall application status and improvement recommendations
Monitor and maintain a centralized inventory of: All applications (including type, owner, environment, dependencies, and status), Subscriptions (e.g., Azure, third-party services), Certificates (SSL/TLS, internal/external), Secrets (API keys, connection strings, credentials)
Track expiration dates and proactively notify relevant teams to renew or rotate credentials.
Perform weekly static code analysis on supported applications to identify: Code quality issues, Security vulnerabilities, Maintainability concerns, Compliance with coding standards
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents promptly.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in application support or software development.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Experience with secret management tools (e.g., Azure Key Vault).
Experience with static code analysis tools (e.g., Github Advanced Security).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with reporting tools or scripting for automated report generation.
