Overview

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all financial and accounting processes at Batu Ampar Container Terminal are accurate, transparent, and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards.

You will lead the accounting team in managing financial reporting, reconciliations, transaction records, and supporting both internal and external audits.

This role requires strong attention to detail, solid financial analysis skills, and the ability to coordinate across departments to maintain data integrity and support management decision-making in a dynamic port operations environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct account reconciliations and monitor cash flow and expense control.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to validate financial data and improve reporting efficiency.
• Identify process improvements and assist in implementing financial best practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor degree in finance/accountancy or equivalent
• 3-5 years of working experience in a supervisory level
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Proven knowledge in financial statement preparation and analysis, bookkeeping and accounting practices and standards, taxes and other government regulations.
• Knowledgeable on Oracle Accounting Systems and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to lead a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the company organization.
• Strong command of the English language
