About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join our team in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time role will be responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting for our company, PT JINJIA NGP INDONESIA.

What you’ll be doing

• Handle the receipt, payment, custody, and recording of cash and bank deposits, ensuring fund security.
• Process bank transfers, payments, and online banking transactions in accordance with approval procedures.
• Maintain cash and bank journals, ensuring daily and monthly reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Execute payments for employee reimbursements, supplier settlements, and payroll.
• Safeguard cash, cheques, bank tokens, and financial seals properly.
• Perform daily accounting operations, including voucher preparation, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance.
• Review source documents for accuracy, legality, and completeness.
• Handle tax calculations, filings, and documentation, ensuring tax compliance.
• Maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset registers.
• Assist with audits, tax inspections, and regulatory reviews.
• Support the establishment and improvement of financial systems and internal controls.
• Carry out other finance-related duties assigned by management.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
• Experience in both cashier and accounting roles, familiar with end-to-end finance operations.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP / PSAK / IFRS).
• Familiar with tax filing procedures and local tax regulations.
• Proficient in Excel, accounting systems, and online banking platforms.
• Strong numerical sensitivity, analytical skills, and risk awareness.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to professional ethics.
• Fluent English is required. Bilingual (Chinese & English) capability is a plus.
• 3 years of experience in the same position.
