OVERVIEW

The Pyramids of Chi in Ubud, Bali are seeking a new Shop Assistant Manager staff member to join their Gift Shop team. The successful applicant will work within the Gift Shop team and be responsible for making sure the Gift Shops daily operations running smoothely and providing memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.

The following criteria are highly desirable for successful applicants:

• Must be an Indonesian citizen, living in Bali, Ubud preferred
• 2 + years experience in a high-paced shop assistant / shop assistant manager position
• Experience with POS system (can be trained)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent written and verbal English
• A great eye for detail
• Outstanding customer service skills, especially dealing with English-speaking guests, and excellent problem-solving
• Able to listen to instructions and execute them perfectly
• Ability to work flexible hours
• A strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
• Able to maintain positive, high energy during working hours
• An open heart and mind to new experiences
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with inventory management systems

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Set a high standard for customer service and ensure that it is consistently maintained
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Lead by example in creating a welcoming and customer-friendly atmosphere
• Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback
• Implement strategies to drive sales and meet business objectives
• Oversee inventory levels and coordinate restocking efforts
• Conduct regular stock assessments to identify slow-moving or popular items
• Collaborate with the store manager to optimize inventory turnover
• Ensure that the stores visual merchandising standards are consistently met
• Plan and execute seasonal displays and promotions
• Collaborate with the team to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing shopping environment
• Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash management
• Monitor and report any issues with equipment or facilities
• Effectively communicate with the store manager and other team members
• Relay important information to the team and ensure a smooth flow of communication

Qualifications:

This position comes with important responsibilities and as such, the successful applicant will be paid accordingly with base salary per month plus food allowance and BPJS.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rp3,000,000 - Rp4,000,000 per month
