Security Officer Duties

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings equipment and access points.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Control traffic by directing drivers.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintain Security Department stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Security Gate Responsibilities

• Verify identity and authorization for guests, visitors, contractors and vehicles, ensuring all vehicle drivers enter and exit the resort through the dedicated gate.
• Greet guests, issue visitor badges and provide directions.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for unauthorized goods or potential security risks.

Record Keeping and Administration

• Maintain logs by recording all visitor, vehicle and vendor movements in a daily log.
• Prepare detailed incident reports on security breaches or suspicious activity.

Emergency Response and Communication

• Respond to alarms, medical emergencies or security breaches and act as the first responder.
• Operate two‑way radios and telephones to coordinate with internal staff, management and emergency services.

Hotel Safety and Security

• Ensure all fire equipment in the Service Building, Utility and Resort is in proper working condition (weekly checks of detection equipment and fire‑fighting equipment).
• Conduct regular fire drills in cooperation with the Engineering Department, ensuring a minimum of two drills per year.
