Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Sales & Business Development Executive to lead business growth in the government sector. This role involves identifying opportunities, building networks with government stakeholders, and driving sales initiatives for public sector projects across various ministries, agencies, and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue business opportunities with government agencies, ministries, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and public institutions.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.
· Lead tender and bidding processes (e.g., e-catalogue, LPSE, E-Procurement), including document preparation and compliance review.
· Monitor government regulations, procurement plans, and budget allocations relevant to company offerings.
· Coordinate with internal departments (technical, legal, finance) to develop and submit winning proposals and RFP responses.
· Represent the company at government-related meetings, exhibitions, and industry forums.
· Maintain accurate records of pipeline opportunities, project status, and forecast reports.
· Provide market intelligence on trends and competitor activities within the government sector.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and manage post-sales relationship and support.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Political Science, or related fields.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2G (Business to Government) sales or public sector business development.
· In-depth understanding of government procurement processes and public project cycles.
· Strong network within government agencies and familiarity with national/local procurement platforms (e.g., LPSE, e-Katalog).
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure, handle complex sales cycles, and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in industries
· Familiarity with budgeting and planning processes in ministries and local government units.
· Government relations or lobbying experience is a plus.
