Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta s Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter ballroom.

Restaurant Assistant Manager (VIEW Steak Bar)

The main responsibility of the Assistant Manager is to be involved in day to day operations of VIEW Steak Bar, ensuring that all standard procedures, rules and regulations, the quality of service and sequence of service are highly implemented and emphasized by the colleagues. S/he facilitates all guest needs and expectations in the outlets by proing exceptional service. The Assistant Manager is responsible for the entire operation in the absence of the Manager. S/hhe will support any activities of the management. operating results.

What you will be doing:

• Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave
• Enquires whether guests are satisfied throughout the meal.
• Offers attentive service to guests, adapting to any constraint
• Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty
• Promotes the F&B offer under his/her responsibility
• With outlet manager organizes the work for the team, including the need to multi-skill in employees job requirements
• Ensures information is properly passed on to the team (briefings and debriefings with the kitchen staff etc)
• Ensures the point of sale is prepared to a high standard
• Takes the global level of activity into account when managing the flow of guests, placement at tables and reservations
• Assists the Outlet Manager to check and evaluate the quality and speed of waiter service
• Ensures the equipment used remains in good condition
