OVERVIEW

The Pyramids of Chi in Ubud, Bali are seeking a new Receptionist staff member to join their team of front-of-house professionals. The successful applicant will work within the Guest Relations team and be responsible for checking guests in upon arrival while also responding to customer inquiries including telephone calls, emails, Facebook & WhatsApp messages, and providing memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.

The following criteria are highly desirable for successful applicants:

  • Must be an Indonesian citizen, living in Bali, Ubud preferred
  • 2 + years experience in a high-paced guest relations / receptionist position
  • Experience with tourism booking software
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • A great eye for detail
  • Outstanding customer service skills, especially dealing with English-speaking guests, and excellent problem-solving
  • Able to listen to instructions and execute them perfectly
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • A strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation
  • Able to maintain positive, high energy during working hours
  • An open heart and mind to new experiences

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Provide upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their visit
  • Ensure clients are properly greeted upon their arrival
  • Monitor daily bookings and communicate with colleagues such as the event manager and caf manager to ensure the clients requirements are met
  • Monitor and answer communications channels in a prompt manner including email and social media
  • Coordinate transport options for guests when required
  • Oversee booking and check-in procedures, including Shopify monitoring and ensuring payment transactions have been received
  • Promptly address guests requests
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints
  • Ensure special guests, like disabled people, the elderly, children, and VIPs, receive personalized services
  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve customer concerns
  • Inform clients of our services including event offers, caf dining and retail store
  • Promote all amenities, conveniences and programs offered
  • Ensure we comply with all standards and operating procedures
  • Liaise with Housekeepers and Wait-Staff to provide an overall comfortable guest experience
  • Analyze customer feedback and suggest ways to improve service
  • Recommend local tourist spots, including our accommodation and retreat partners
  • Establish friendly relationships with regular clients

This position comes with important responsibilities and as such, the successful applicant will be paid accordingly with base salary per month plus food allowance and BPJS.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rp3,000,000 per month

Experience:
