About the role
Midplaza Holding is currently looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Sudirman, Central Jakarta. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, and providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of the office support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the office administration.
What you’ll be doing
Front Desk Service
- Welcome, assist, and provide general information to guests, tenants, and employees with warm and professional service.
- Maintain a neat, organized reception area and ensure all tools and supplies (including stationery) are available.
Telephony & Communication
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls courteously and efficiently.
Systems & Equipment Operations
- Operate and ensure the proper functioning of telephones, Visitor Management System (VMS), Car Call, computers, and other supporting equipment.
Guest Registration & Access Control
- Register guests in the VMS: verify identities, input data, issue access cards, provide directions or escorting as needed, and monitor entry and exit.
Reporting & Shift Handover
- Prepare guest logs, call reports, and incident reports.
- Conduct accurate and complete daily shift handovers.
Lost & Found Management
- Handle lost-and-found items in accordance with procedures, including proper documentation and transfer.
Issue Reporting & Resolution
- Record and report technical issues to supervisors and assist with follow-up actions.
Security Coordination
- Coordinate with the Security team to manage guest access during potential security concerns.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum education: Senior High School/Vocational School; Bachelor’s degree (S1) preferred.
- Well-groomed, polite, and professional in presentation.
- Prior experience in receptionist, front office, or customer service roles is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills, and active English proficiency is an advantage.
- Service-oriented, friendly, and responsive.
- Detail-oriented, quick to act, and able to multitask effectively.
- Computer-literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Willing to work in shifts.
