As a QC Inspector Team Lead at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam, you will support the facility by being the expert on any quality-related issue. In this position, you can apply your knowledge of inspection and continuous improvement to ensure that the inspected products meet specifications to prevent problems in the quality of products and ensure that inspected product meets the specifications.
As the QC Inspector Team Lead, you will:
Perform product inspections of the machines/processes in the defined departments.
Conduct quality audits daily andplete all necessary reports on a timely basis.
Develop and follow inspection and test plans. Perform receiving inspection on iing material from suppliers per Inspection and Test Plan. Maintain all records in the quality log and make sure they are updated.
Perform PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) documentation and ensure that all International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 requirements are met.
Goodmunication skills are needed to contact suppliers or customers to answer any quality questions they may have related to our product.
The successful canate must bring:
Goodmunication in English.
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in welding inspection.
Certified Welding Inspection CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent.
Expert in Non-destructive (NDT) testing and Maic particle inspection.
Good understanding of different welding processes.
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable amodation):
This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.

Work location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau
You will work both in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Domestic relocation is available for this position.
