Job Summary :The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for enhancing the public image and reputation of The Mesa Bali through strategic communication, media relations, and community engagement. Simultaneously, this role will oversee the recruitment, training, and management of a team of external promoters, ensuring their efforts align with the club's marketing objectives and contribute significantly to event success and revenue generation. This position requires a highly social, creative, and proactive individual with a deep understanding of the nightlife industry, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for creating buzz and driving business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Public Relations & Media Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and national media outlets, including journalists, bloggers, influencers, and online publications relevant to entertainment, music, and lifestyle.

  • Draft and distribute compelling press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to announce events, promotions, and club news.

  • Coordinate media interviews, photo shoots, and on-site coverage of events, ensuring positive brand representation.

  • Monitor media coverage of the nightclub and promptly respond to inquiries or address any potential issues.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for social media, website, and promotional materials (e.g., event descriptions, club features, artist bios).

  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for positive storytelling about the nightclub's unique offerings and experiences.

• Promoter Team Management & Development:

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard a high-performing team of external promoters.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for promoters on sales techniques, event details, club policies, and brand messaging.

  • Set clear performance targets and KPIs for individual promoters and the team, monitoring progress regularly.

  • Provide ongoing motivation, coaching, and support to the promoter team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

  • Organize and lead regular promoter meetings to review performance, share updates, and strategize for upcoming events.

  • Manage promoter schedules, assignments, and ensure adequate coverage for all club nights and special events.

  • Implement incentive programs and recognition initiatives to reward top-performing promoters.

• Promoter Reporting & Performance Analysis:

  • Establish and maintain robust systems for tracking promoter performance, including guest list entries, ticket sales, VIP table bookings attributed to each promoter, and overall attendance.

  • Compile detailed promoter reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, analyzing key metrics and identifying trends.

  • Present comprehensive reports to management, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable insights.

  • Utilize data from reports to adjust promoter strategies, reallocate resources, and optimize promotional efforts for maximum impact.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of promoter commissions and payouts based on agreed-upon terms and performance metrics.

• Influencer & VIP Relations:

  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with relevant social media influencers, DJs, artists, and local personalities to amplify club promotions.

  • Coordinate VIP guest lists and ensure a premium experience for high-profile attendees and guests brought in by promoters.

• Event Promotion & Support:

  • Work closely with the events and marketing teams to develop integrated promotional strategies for all club nights and special events.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional activities and launch events, leveraging the promoter team effectively.

  • Represent the nightclub at relevant industry events, networking functions, and community gatherings to build brand awareness.

• Crisis Communication:

  • Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to effectively manage and mitigate negative publicity or incidents.

  • Act as a key point of contact for media inquiries during sensitive situations, coordinating with relevant internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience 2+ years) in public relations, marketing, or a similar role, with a strong emphasis on the hospitality, entertainment, or nightlife industry.

• Demonstrated experience in managing teams, particularly external sales or promotional teams.

• Exceptional leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse group of individuals.

• Strong understanding of the local media landscape and nightlife scene in [City/Area].

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and compelling storytelling.
