As a Principal Sales Representative in Indonesia, you will be responsible for driving sales and achieving revenue targets for a designated product or service line. You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients,entifying new business opportunities, and proing gance to the sales team. Your expertise in sales strategies, market trends, and customer needs will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize market pration for the assigned product or service line.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and key accounts to focus sales efforts on, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Lead by example in prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals, while proing gance and support to the sales team.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adapt strategies accordingly to optimize sales oues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure effective product positioning and marketpetitiveness.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to drive sales opportunities and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Stay updated on industry trends,petitive landscape, and customer insights to anticipate market changes and position thepany as a trusted advisor.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management review.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback toentify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage leads, and monitor sales activities.


  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering or any other related engineering.
  • Preferable with more than 10 years of experience in the refining or petrochemical industry.
  • Preferable with track record of successful sales performance in a similar role, with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the same industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and processes, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Indonesian languages.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
