Join a high-performing global team dedicated to building and managing the core engines of the Vault ecosystem. As a Platform Engineer, you will be the architect of our database and backup products, driving the evolution of our container orchestration via OpenStack and Kubernetes (K8s).

You will create the scalable, robust cloud solutions that protect some of Australia’s most vital data. This is a unique, remote opportunity for an Indonesian tech leader to work at the forefront of sovereign cloud innovation.

You will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable systems that serve as the backbone of our platform.
• Act as a strategic partner, translating complex business requirements into elegant, high-performance technical solutions.
• Fully integrate into Vault’s SDLC, championing modern DevOps practices and maintaining elite coding standards.
• Contribute to backlog management and resource planning, ensuring our product delivery is as efficient as it is innovative.
• Stay ahead of global industry trends to drive innovation and continuously optimize our system design.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with:

• Proven proficiency in platform-layer solutions, specifically Database management and Backup systems.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes (K8s), OpenStack, and Rancher.
• A track record of designing and architecting complex platform orchestration environments.
• Expert-level GitLab administration and hands-on experience building sophisticated CI/CD pipelines and using industry-standard automation toolkits.
• Professional English fluency is a must. You can navigate complex business transactions and articulate technical strategy clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
