About the role

As a Logistics/Purchasing Specialist at mentari 282', you will play a pivotal role in the company's efficient supply chain management. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta, and will involve overseeing the procurement of materials, managing inventory, and optimising logistical operations to support the company's manufacturing and distribution processes.

What you'll be doing

Procuring raw materials, components, and equipment from suppliers in a timely and cost-effective manner

Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimising excess stock

Coordinating logistics and transportation to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods

Negotiating with suppliers to secure favourable prices, terms, and delivery schedules

Analysing procurement data and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with production and sales requirements

Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in purchasing and logistics

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management role within the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics operations

Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise supply chain efficiency

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements

Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
