Logistics Supervisor (Customs Clearance) – Indonesia
Join our growing global manufacturing team and play a key role in managing import & export customs operations in Indonesia.
Location: Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
✅ Prepare and submit complete customs documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other import/export documents.
✅ Manage HS Code classification, customs declaration, duty & tax calculation/payment, and customs clearance until cargo release.
✅ Ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and stay updated on policy changes to mitigate compliance risks.
✅ Handle customs inspections, cargo holds, HS classification disputes, and other clearance exceptions.
✅ Coordinate closely with Customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient logistics operations.
✅ Maintain complete documentation and support internal/external audits.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
✔ Indonesian Customs Broker License (PPJK/Customs Declarant Certificate) is required.
✔ 1–3+ years of experience in import/export customs clearance in Indonesia.
✔ Solid understanding of Indonesian customs procedures, tariff regulations, and import controls.
✔ Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Chinese
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP ERP or similar systems is preferred. Ideal Candidate ⭐ Strong knowledge of HS Code classification, Rules of Origin, and Indonesian import regulations. ⭐ Able to solve customs clearance issues efficiently while balancing compliance, cost, and lead time. ⭐ Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills and a strong compliance mindset. ⭐ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment. Preferred Qualifications ➕ Experience in large-scale manufacturing, mining, chemical, or industrial projects in Indonesia. ➕ Experience handling heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or bulk commodities. ➕ Professional certifications in freight forwarding or customs compliance. ➕ Familiarity with China–Indonesia trade policies, including Form E (ASEAN-China FTA) preferential tariff procedures.
