Learning & Development Coordinator will assist Senior People & Organization Development Manager in managing the learning & development, safeguarding, performance management and talent management, disciplinary & grievance, employee wellness, and organization culture.
The position will ensure that the learning and development activities are implemented, including initiatives on staff wellbeing and oversee Safeguarding to ensure that quality of child safeguarding/adult safeguarding practices are exercised and delivered across all sectors within SC IDN.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work oute the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly. SCOPE OF ROLE:

Direct: N/A ; Indirect: Learning and Development Officer KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Safeguarding (Child Safeguarding & Anti-Harassment and Bullying)
In consultation with SCI/Member relevant working groups, especially Senior POD Manager support in improving the related mechanisms of Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Anti-Harassment through periodically review of policies and procedures to ensurepliance with SCI safeguarding standards and relevant legislation and policies (including but not limited to the Labour Law).
Proe Safeguarding technical support and advice on People/Staff and Board members. This includes induction for new staff and new Board members, as well as refresher sessions.
Proe Safeguarding case/inents data report to Global, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team at monthly/quarterly meeting.
Coordinate the Child Safeguarding Focal (CSFP) Point Network and work with Safeguarding Leads from other pillars to proe advice, capacity building (including training and induction) and conduct monitoring activity through audit and reporting.
Coordinate and monitor Safeguarding budget spending and work closely with Award and Finance team to ensure that budget has made available by each project.
Participate in Emergency responses (where appropriate) to proe Safeguarding support for staff.
Ensure that cases and concerns are reported as per the timelines agreed between SCI and SC Members via DATIX and are managed efficiently.
Support in investigation and grievance handling in safeguarding cases involving staff.
Develop and maintain a documenting system for Safeguarding case / inents.
Learning and Development
Work closely with Senior POD Manager to conduct learning needs analysis to contribute to the annual L&D and Talent Management Strategy that is in line with the organization needs.
Arrange in-house program, including training follow up action program. Liaise with the facilitators, develop program catalogue, and ensure in-house program schedule is published to all staff in share point/other internalmunications channel.
Manage Associate Trainers, ensure effective scheduling for in-house program is effective and efficient.
Develop or oversee the production of handouts, TOR, instructional materials, L&D manuals and monitor events attendance and records.
Assist with periodic reporting such as: L&D Dashboard, Exit interviews report, mandatory training report
Liaise with Finance to monitor L&D budget spending and assist Senior POD Manager to develop annual L&D/OD budget.
Lead and ensure implementation of employee wellness initiatives.
Staff On-boarding
Arrange new employee induction and orientation program, liaise with the Facilitators, and ensure induction schedule is arranged efficiently.
Arrange Buddy program for new employee.
Update SC IDN induction pack and ensure all new hires receive the Induction.
Work with other Departments (IT, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure all new hiresplete online mandatory induction training.
Performance Management & Talent Management
Monitorpletion rate of Performance Management in ORACLE and proepletion rate report to Senior POD Manager for follow up action.
Conduct Performance Management training to staff as needed.
Support Senior POD Manager in Talent Management exercise and Talent Development program.
Organization Development and Culture
Handle employee grievances, lead end-to-end disciplinary action process including investigation if needed. Proe rmendation to Senior POD Manager and liaise with HR Operations unit on the oue.
Work with Senior POD Manager to roll out employee engagement survey.
Monitor Culture initiatives implementation, ensure activities are published in share point calendar.
Partnership Management
Train and ge implementing partners on L&D, Safeguarding, and HR function as needed.
In collaboration with HR Operations unit to develop capacity building plan for implementing partners.
Develop geline for partners on L&D/Safeguarding/Culture implantation as needed. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Communications, Social science, or other major with experience in Human Resources function. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
‘essential’
Minimum 5 years professional working experience in Human Resources, in a corporate or an NGO environment, including experience in Supervisor level.
Good knowledge and understanding in Child Safeguarding and/or Child Protection.
Good understanding in training content development, implement learning initiatives, and facilitations skills.
Experience of managing as well as undertakingplex investigations and or disciplinary investigations.
Multi-disciplinary experience of working successfully with senior management.
Self-sufficient, proactive, and self-motivating.
Analytical, decision making and strategic planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work within multicultural teams and proven teamwork ability
Ability to coach, mentor, and proe counselling to staff.
High sense of personal integrity, discretion, and good judgement
Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles
Excellent interpersonal andmunications skills, including first-rate written/spoken English and Bahasa
Outstanding presentation, session facilitation and report (TOR) writing skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office

Experience of humanitarian responses
