Job Description

• Write maintainable code that solves real business problems, not just completes tickets.
• Question requirements and suggest simpler alternatives when you spot unnecessary complexity.
• Work within small teams (product managers, designers, engineers) to build features that users actually need.
• Collaborate with product and design to understand the "why" behind features before diving into implementation.
• Take ownership of small features from development through deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, basic system design) matter more than knowing specific frameworks.
• Understanding of backend development basics (HTTP, databases, APIs) - we primarily use Go but can teach syntax if you understand the concepts.
• Frontend development experience with any modern framework (Angular, ReactJS, VueJS).
• Experience with version control (Git) and working in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of how web applications scale and perform under load.
• Ability to ask good questions and push back respectfully when something doesn't make sense.
• English proficiency for team communication.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant project work or internship experience.
