As the Investment Dealer you will be responsible for executing Investment transactions (Equity, Bonds, Money market) in the capital market in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to support investment strategies, monitor market activities, and ensure efficient trade execution while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Execute trading instructions from the Trading Function Coordinator and/or Investment Director, including negotiating prices for the purchase and sale of securities within Mutual Fund portfolios and Individual Client Fund Management portfolios.
- Conduct deposit rate negotiations with banking counterparties based on directions from the Trading Function Coordinator and/or Investment Director.
- Execute deposit placements, rollovers, and withdrawals for Mutual Fund portfolios and Individual Client Fund Management portfolios in accordance with instructions from the Trading Function Coordinator and/or Investment Director.
- Record and input all executed transactions into the designated investment management and trading systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform reconciliation and synchronization of transaction records between internal systems and the S-Invest platform.
- Prepare daily transaction summaries covering executed securities buy and sell transactions for Mutual Fund portfolios and Individual Client Fund Management portfolios, serving as a reference for the Securities Settlement team.
- Assist the Investment Director in monitoring cash levels across investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with Collective Investment Contract and Investment Management Agreement
- Maintain a thorough understanding of capital market regulations, trading procedures, and investment management policies applicable to the Company’s investment activities.
- Prepare portfolio reports and investment-related analyses for all investment products managed by the Company, supporting the Investment Team’s strategies and decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in equity trading, dealing, brokerage, asset management, or capital market operations.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, trading mechanisms, and capital market regulations.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and market data systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and stakeholder communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy in executing equity buy and sell transactions
- Possession of relevant capital market certifications (e.g., WPPE, WMI) is an advantage.
