About the role
As an Illustrator, you will be responsible for visualising concepts, narratives and ideas through compelling illustrations and storyboards. Your expertise in creating assets using Adobe Illustrator (Ai) will be essential in enhancing our projects.
Here are a few of your day to day responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the creative and production team to understand project goals, concepts and narratives.
Translate written or verbal ideas into visual concepts, storyboards, and illustrations that effectively convey the intended message.
Develop detailed storyboards that outline scenes, character poses, and visual elements to guide the production process.
Create high-quality illustrations and visual assets using a variety of artistic techniques.
Collaborate with animators, designers, and other team members to integrate illustrations and assets seamlessly
Revise and iterate on illustrations and storyboards based on feedback from the team and the clients
Requirements
Youd be great for this role if
You have a strong portfolio showcasing your illustrations and storyboard skills.
Must have 1-3 years experience illustrating corporate videos such as explainer videos and whiteboard animations.
You are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe After Effects
You have a keen understanding of vector graphics creation, including mastery of the PEN tool
You are capable of generating hand-drawn illustrations concepts quickly and precisely and can transpose them into digitized illustrations/assets ready for animation.
You are able to generate thoughtful and engaging illustration concepts that go beyond 1-to-1 representations
You have the ability to receive, interpret and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders in illustration work
You have prior experience in creating storyboards for animations, corporate animations and videos or films is a plus!
