Overview

This role is part of our Beekast team, one of our growing brands at saas.group. Beekast is an online meeting tool for agile teams. With over 50 features, including word clouds, quizzes, whiteboards, interactive activities, and more, this meeting software boosts engagement and participation. Beekast can be used to create, lead, and track workshops, presentations, events, training sessions, and more, with access to hundreds of ready-to-use templates. It is ideal for agile communication in hybrid environments.

Profile Overview

As our CPO, you will own the entire product roadmap as a single Product leader and play a crucial role in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and ensuring the delivery of an innovative virtual meeting and workshop management solution to our growing customer base.

This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will own the vision and the execution too, reporting directly to the CEO in this key position. You will have a chance to make an impact by taking over all ongoing product projects, delivering quickly and already making a real difference early on.

You will work closely with one cross-functional product team, a designer, the customer success and account management teams.

Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be:

  • Product Advancement: Ensure the product is actively progressing with significant milestones being achieved regularly towards becoming an enterprise-grade offering. Perform an extensive internal audit during the initial three months to evaluate and enhance operational product development processes.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop a clear and comprehensive roadmap for the year 2025, based on your user research and competitor analysis, incorporating innovative ideas. This includes creating detailed specifications and preparations for launching the next phase of Beekast.
  • Team Collaboration and Engagement: Foster strong collaboration among the tech team, key stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is synchronized and motivated. The tech team should be actively engaged and view their tasks as challenging yet rewarding opportunities.

Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for our innovative product offering
  • Conduct research and gather feedback from our B2B customers to identify their pain points, needs and enrich them with data.
  • Define and execute a roadmap based on tough decisions and balanced competing priorities.
  • Continuous improve and monitor our freemium conversion metrics and subscriptions upgrades
  • Implement a PLG strategy by improving adoption, self-service, online payments and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with customer success, marketing and leadership in defining go to market strategies and new client acquisitions.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing and customer success to ensure effective delivery of product features and improvements.
  • Work closely with product design to create user-friendly, modern and a visually appealing product experience.

What You bring to the table

  • Ability to independently own product strategy and execution in a highly technical and dynamic environment. You have delivered and optimized several successful products already.
  • Strong technical background gathered in a SaaS product environment, ideally a technical degree too.
  • Solid experience with agile delivery methods, prioritization, roadmapping and writing clear specifications.
  • Strong product-sense, user-centricity, ability to drive ideation and wireframing with your Product Designer
  • Outstanding communication skills and influence in a cross-functional team
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to gather insights from market and competitive research, as well as customer feedback and behavior. Experience with product analytics will be a great addition
  • At least business-fluent French language speaking skills
