We're looking for a motivated team player to join the Bottega Italiana Bali family.
The Floor Manager will have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant chain with multiple locations. You will be responsible for managing the floor staff, including training, andensuring that all guests receive prompt and courteous service. You will also be responsible for managing reservations, coordinating with floor and kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery, and handling customer complaints.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all food safety procedures are followed including ensuring that food is stored at proper temperatures, checking expiration dates on food items, and ensuring that food is prepared according to European health standards before being served
- Train servers in proper customer service techniques, such as greeting customers, recommending menu selections, describing specials, and suggesting wine pairings
- Oversee all aspects of the dining experience, including setting up reservations, seating guests, and ensuring that guests have a positive experience
- Ensure all local health codes and regulations regarding food preparation, storage, and handling are followed
- Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including, but not limited to, assignment of duties, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
- Coordinate meals with the kitchen staff to ensure that food is ready when needed
- Maintain order in the dining area by monitoring the volume of customers to ensure that wait times are reasonable
- Determine staffing needs based on sales volume, special events, holidays, etc. and hiring accordingly
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies to ensure adequate supply levels
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be fluent in English: strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing
- Minimum of 5 years F&B service background with at least 2 years restaurant management required.
- Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people.
- Excellent people skills with a customer service focus
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train staff
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- High level of business acumen and common sense.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good organizational and time management skills
- S1 degree preferred
- Working knowledge of Moka POS
- ServSafe certification
- First Aid/CPR knowledge
- Familiarity with health department regulations
- Possesses the potential and aspiration to serve as a General Manager
Salary commensurate with your skills, qualifications, and experience. Interview will be conducted in English.
