• About the Role: As an Executive Chef, you are the orchestrator of culinary symphonies. You will collaborate with the finest ingredients, set and maintain the highest standards of taste and presentation, and inspire your team to achieve culinary brilliance.

Job Description

• Create seasonal menus and daily specials, considering customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and cost-efficiency, while maintaining an elevated dining experience.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop and manage the kitchen budget, controlling expenses related to food and labor costs while maximizing profitability.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities, addressing any maintenance or repair issues promptly.

Who Were Looking For:

Requirements:

• Completion of a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the field of Executive Chef
• Proficiency in managing kitchen budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
• Depending on your passport and the location of your placement, a valid Skill Assessment outcome from the relevant Australian skill assessing authorities (TRA or VETASSESS) may be needed.
• A valid certificate of proficiency in English with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and a minimum of 5.0 for each IELTS component.
