Paper.id is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance professional to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic financial analysis and advice to drive business growth and profitability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders. They will be responsible for providing financial and commercial advice to operational management, preparing and monitoring forecasting and budgeting processes, and interacting with external parties to analyze business performance and drive positive strategic changes.

Skills & Qualification

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights, helping the company to make informed business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of supporting business growth and profitability, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring that the company’s financial goals are aligned with operational objectives.
  • Experience in financial, accounting, and project management systems, policies, and procedures, enabling the company to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, providing a solid foundation for strategic financial decision making.
  • Strong experience in corporate finance or treasury is a plus, providing a competitive edge in terms of financial expertise and market knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with external parties, such as banks, to receive maximum return on capital through cooperation and collaboration.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing financial reports, presentations, and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual budget forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and prepare financial, strategic analysis on major decisions, helping the company to understand the financial implications of various business strategies.
  • Prepare and monitor the forecasting and budgeting process, including coordinating multiple stakeholders for input, verifying assumptions, and obtaining signoffs from key personnel.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual budget presentations, ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial data, and collaborating with the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial and commercial advice to operational management, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis, and ensuring that business decisions are aligned with financial goals.
  • Interact with other parties to analyze business performance and drive positive strategic changes across the company, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance financial performance.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc internal reporting and investor communications, as needed, to keep stakeholders informed of the company’s financial performance and progress.
  • Responsible for management reporting and follow‑up analysis towards budget and forecast, ensuring that financial performance is aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with external parties, such as banks, to receive maximum return on capital through cooperation and collaboration, ensuring that the company’s financial goals are met.
