Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.JR24050 Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Material) As a Global Quality (GQ) Senior Supplier Quality Engineer in the Supplier Quality department of Micron Technology, Inc., you will develop and manage all aspects of Supplier Quality Management program. You will be responsible for driving supplier quality improvement initiatives through collaboration with major stakeholders such as Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing sites to develop an effective Supplier Management Program resulting in mutual business success with Suppliers for all quality-related topics. You will assess supplier quality performance, proe timely and accurate supplier performance metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement in Supplier Quality. Responsibilities and Tasks

• Develop and maintain Supplier Quality system (manual, supplier qualification process, supplier scorecards, Supplier Quality Notice process, shift left quality programs)
• Partner with procurement organization to roll out supplier quality program and manage improvement
• Attend and actively participate in Supplier MRB, Material Change Notification meetings and make decisions in a timely manner
• Monitor supplier quality performance to metrics/goals for organization and proe performance feedback
• Define supplier quality improvement strategies and drive implementation
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive for root cause investigations and corrective actions to resolve supplier quality related issues
• Promote analytical problem solving through sound statistical application
• Incorporate the use of Micron Quality tools and methods in supplier activities and problem solving
• Drive suppliers for quality improvement through deployment Micron s shift-left quality programs such as Critical-to-Quality Cpk, FMEA built up, Control point hardening and material standards, and ship to control.
• Champion corporate initiatives in supplier quality and operational excellence (zero defect mindset)

Qualifications requirement

• Minimum Bachelor s Degree of Chemistry or Engineering in any related field.
• Knowledge of substrate or PCB technology and manufacturing process is preferred.
• Knowledge of chemistrymodities, assembly processes, and supplier quality engineering is preferred.
• Direct experience working with suppliers or external facing is preferred.
• Well-understand of 8D methodology and driving skills.
• Possess a thorough understanding of measurement methods and quality tools, including MSA and Calibration, statistical methods, and problem-solving methodology, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and automotive quality management systems
• Supplier and Quality Management System Auditing experience is preferred
• Expertise in ISO/QS/ and automotive IATF type quality systems and AIAG quality tools (APQP, PPAP, etc.) is preferred.
• International travel frequency of approximate 30% is required
