About the Role

As our People Business Partner in the Commercial and Regional teams, you ll partner with various business leads within thepany to gather insights about and devise effective strategies to resolve people-related issues, achieve business objectives with maximum productivity, and design integrated, meaningful, and enjoyable people experiences in the region. You’ll dive deep into understanding our ecosystem of driver-partners, merchant-partners, and users in Indonesia, and you will drive strategic problem-solving in numerous people areas.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for workforce planning (manpower planning,petency needed, and talententification) and fulfillment
• Manage end to end people operations excellence, including data excellence,pensation & benefits accuracy, and others
• Collaborate with the business to design organizational structure
• Development implementation & monitoring based on business needs
• Maintain and improve employee experience to fit with business needs
• Maintain and improve employee engagement to boost man power productivity
• Collaborate with other functions in People and Culture (PAC) to ensure we deliver the best experience and result in regions
• Protect and ensurepliance with regulation in HR area
• Problem solving for people area and giving insight/ consultative about people area that will improve business objectives
• Handles projects related to improvement or initiatives relates to people

What You Will Need

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR
• Strong interpersonal skills,munication, and relationship-building abilities in order to drive effective stakeholder management; this includes stellar negotiation and conflict management skills to handle disputes in the area
• Strong project management & change management skills to keep people properly informed and consistently engaged in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent business acumen in order to partner with relevant business streams to ensure the people strategies work to empower and grow the business
• Strong time management abilities in order to juggle multiple projects at once and effectively prioritize your tasks and responsibilities
• Past notable experiences in strategizing HR programs and driving the implementation of them
• A sharp analytical and problem-solving attitude in order to determine what the most effective and efficient solution is for various people-related issues in the Indoregion
• Willingness to be placed in Jakarta with needs to travel to cities if needed
• Understands Indonesian HR regulations and industrial relations
• Experienced in end to end HR skills covering Recruitment, Operations, Development, IR/ER, L&D, C&B

About the Team

Indonesia s Business Partner team has an objective of creating integrated, meaningful, and enjoyable people experiences for our GoTroops. Collaborating with the Ops, Sales and Consumer Engagement teams across multiple regions in Indonesia, we work to understand the various people-related issues and challenges these teams face, and devise effective and genuine resolutions for each matter. Our independent HRBPs for specific regions work alonge their respective regional teams to devise holistic people projects and experiences for that region.

The scope of our role necessitates that we think regionally and act locally. We’re a small but mighty team of 6 Business Partners spread out across multiple Indonesian regions, including Sumatra, Jabodetabek, Central West Java, East Java Bali Nusra, and East Indonesia. Each one of our members has a high level of personal accountability to get their job done, while ensuring the perspective and experiences of our GoTroops is kept at the forefront of everything they do. Some of our past projects include overseeing change management after major restructuring, designing and implementing people gelines for various regional processes, and rolling out employee engagement & recognition initiatives.

One of the biggest obstacles our team has had to ovee is to standardize our way of work throughout our various regions. After many weeks of collaboration and trial and error, we figured out that the best way to tackle this issue was to establish a foundational blueprint for all of our policies and processes, but allow creative freedom for our members to cater their work based on what our GoTroops in their particular region necessitate. This way, these policies and processes would be more relevant to the local teams.

Off-hours, you’d probably find us doing quizzes and celebrating birthdays and moments. Working from home has been a strange time for a lot of us, so our team has been taking time on our calls to trade advice on the best ways to keep sane with this new work setup. We are lovers of books, celebrations, and, of course, people, because ultimately, our team celebrates the humans who keep Gojek moving forward.
