About the Appointed Actuary Role: Reporting to the business leaders, you will play a crucial role in the financial well-being and sustainability of this life insurancepany. Your primary objective is to leverage your actuarial expertise to support our mission of proingprehensive life protection to indiuals and families while ensuring the long-term financial health of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the actuarial function
• Set up and support the regular reserving and capital management process
• Comply with regional and local statutory reporting requirements
• Support business development from an actuarial pricing perspective
• Communicate and present regular actuarial and business insights to local and regional stakeholder
• Develop strong relationships with other departments such as business development underwriting, risk and claims

To succeed in this Appointed Actuary role, you will apply your mathematical and statistical skills to develop and implement accurate and effective pricing models, risk assessments, and financial strategies.

Key Requirements:

• FSAI certified
• 4 - 10 years of actuarial experience in a multinational life insurance firm
• Extensive understanding of local insurance product market, including pricing and actuarial product development
• Thorough experience in insurance reserving, pricing, and capital management
• Robust understanding of local regulatory requirements, particularly from an actuarial perspective
• Ideally three years of management and leadership experience in an actuarial capacity
• Strong experience in actuarial software such as Prophet or AXIS
• Strongmunication, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbalmunication skills
