Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Officer to support the company’s financial operations and maintain accurate records. This role is crucial in ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported in compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record, review, and reconcile daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of company assets, liabilities, and expenses.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making by management.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, or finance (1–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Oracle, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
