We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our property project and resort with a beach club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and experience in the hospitality or real estate industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious project and contribute to its success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
• Oversee external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
