POSITION SUMMARY
The eographer & eo Editor organizes, eotapes, and edits eo productions to achieve the desired promotional and/or educational objectives.
The eographer/Editor may function occasionally as Producer and/or Director on eo projects by evaluating project objectives and target audience, operating within program format and content to attain desired goals, and staying within budget, time, and facility limitations.
The eographer/Editor interacts with writers, graphic designers, production crews, and other participants involved in multiple productions. This position creates and edits eo and audio media productions on-site and off-site.
SUPERVISION
The eographer/eo Editor is supervised by Project Coordinator in ourpany, however the eographer/Editor exercises judgment and discretion in planning, organizing, and directing assigned media productions within general gelines and objectives and works closely with departmental staff onmon production projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Promotes a positive image of thepany through the creation of good eo-audio content.
2. Exercises creative and technical decision-making during the production of single- and multi-camera presentations by analyzing projects for artistic, technical, time, material, and budgeting requirements, planning and scheduling productions.
3. Assists in the production of single and multi-camera presentations by exercising creative and technical control of eo/audio recording which may require functioning independently as eographer, the producer, and/or director for the production, supervising production assistants, directing talent for voice, physical presence and actions, and editing the final tape.
4. Exercises creative decision-making while assembling single and multi-camera presentations of recorded eo and audio segments into apleted technically and aesthetically effective presentation.
REQUIREMENTS
1. At least 1 year of responsible experience in the electronic media production field is required, and must include: knowledge of the principles, techniques, and equipment involved in electronic media productions and familiarity with eotaping styles, formats, and editing techniques.
2. Ability to operate DSLR camera, lightings, microphones, and photography/eography equipment are necessary.
3. Ability to operate eo editing system in post-production (Adobe Premier Pro/Final Cut Pro/Wondershare Filmora) is required. Additional knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
4. Creative and innovative skills needed to meet artistic, technical, and practical production challenges are required.
5. Excellent written/verbalmunications, interpersonal skills, effective time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required.
6. Occasional travel for production projects, workshops, seminars and educational events is required.
IMPORTANT NOTE
You will undergo an interview where you will also be asked to:
ü Edit a eo from us (eo material will be given during interview).
ü Produce a self-introductory eo using your own equipment to demonstrate your eography and eo editing capabilities.
