Position Location Indonesia, Jakarta Position Profile Sales Engineers are pre-sales, trusted technical advisors that work in close partnership with account teams (end-user or channel). Responsibilities
  • Own account or specialized technical strategy, depending upon assignment.
  • Define, analyze, and present solutions to end-user data management problems or technically enable and vaate channel partners.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams to technically close deals and achieve new bookings goal, as well as Product Management to ensure solutions align with market/customer needs.
  • Proes technical expertise and technical closure for a specific solution within assigned accounts and/or territories.
  • Maintain product/solution expertise of market trends in aligned technology including detailed understanding of thepetition
  • Proe high level solution design for information security or information management
  • Be able to present the Veritas technical vision and offering strategy to all levels across the customer internally and externally (e.g. technical or business leads)
  • Maintaining key relationships/contacts within the Sales organization, customers and partners.
  • Develop plan to achieve objectives and new bookings quota
  • Help customers define their technical problems and architect solutions
  • Build relationships with technical influencers
  • Proes input on product directions
Qualifications
  • 7+ years covering one or more of the Veritas 360 Data Management Specializations
  • Current knowledge ofpetitive solutions and selling strategies
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent written/verbalmunicator
Education
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
