About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team in Tangerang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machines. As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, developing preventative maintenance strategies, and leading a team to maintain our facilities to the highest standards. This role is strategically important to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction, facility efficiency, and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Manage and supervise maintenance staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development
• Monitor maintenance costs, prepare budgets, and optimise resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues before they become critical problems
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation to track equipment performance and service history
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies across all maintenance operations
• Coordinate with other departments to address facility issues and ensure minimal disruption to business operations
• Implement improvements to maintenance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reliability
• Report on maintenance performance metrics and provide recommendations to senior management

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems.
• Proven experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance programmes
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of maintenance technicians
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and computer systems
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulations, and compliance requirements in Indonesia
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical qualifications is preferred
• Experience with budget management and cost control is advantageous
