The Lead installer is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and testing the HSIA / VOD Access Server and visitor basedworking equipment on client’s property. In addition, this position will be responsible for training the hotel staff in the proper use of the visitorwork.

Responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and troubleshootworking equipment on customer premises or remotely

· Install and configure OVI / OVM servers on customer’s site or remotely

· Train and proe technical gance to Third Party Contractors of GuestTek in carrying out installations

· Perform hotel staff training for visitorwork.

· Document installation and testing results.

· Work as Project Coordinator onsite while still under the gance of the Project Manager toplete various projects.

· Report any customer and installation issues

· Represent Guest-tek onsite and ensure customer satisfaction with Guest-tek products and services

· Act as an additional technical resource for other Departments (i.e. Sales)

· Assist in troubleshooting hotel issues onsite as needed/requested

· Works with Sales Engineer and conduct site surveys during pre-sales as needed

Qualifications:

· Must have 3-5 years’ experience inwork deployment and preferably in Hospitality industry

· Possess a degree in Applied Information Technology from a technical College or equivalent

· Preference would be given to indiuals with CCNA, ECSM and/or equivalent certifications

· Advanced knowledge of switched Ethe, Inte connection methods, andworking

· Good working knowledge of Linux, Switches, DSL, and WiFiworking equipment

· Must have experience in conducting site surveys and creation of Network Diagrams

· Cabling knowledge is an asset

· Excellent written and verbalmunication skills

· Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills

· Must have a va Passport and be legally entitled and willing to travel overseas

· This position requires extensive travel, as much as 90% of the time may be spent out of the office at customer sites. Time not spent traveling will be used in the office to assist with other projects (e.g. remote configuration,pletion of documentation, etc.)

· This position can be very demanding, both physically and mentally. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines

· Mandarin speaking is a plus

· Detail oriented with proven analytical skills and excellent problem-solving attitude

· A Team player and can work with inter-departments

· Enjoys travelling
