Pulp & Energy Solutions Business Unit Manager, Asia Pacific Are you interested to be part of our winning team in Asia Pacific? To further support and drive continued profitable growth together with region sales/service operations, we are looking for Business Manager for Pulp and Energy Solutions (PES) Business Unit (BU) in Asia Pacific. Location is Indonesia. Valmet is the leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. Valmets strong technology offering includes pulp mills, tissue, board and paper production lines, as well as power plants for bioenergy production. Read more www.valmet.com , www.twitter.com/valmetglobal Job description: Our Pulp and Energy Solutions (PES) BU mainly provide services to our customers: Our PES services help our pulp mill and energy plant customers to upgrade system, have more uptime, higher efficiency, achieve lower operating costs, save energy and improve pulp quality. As an outcome mills become more efficient trough well-organized maintenance. Pulp and Energy Solution mean optimized production line performance throughout its life cycle. We perform 2,000 on-site projects annually.
  • Process improvement services.
  • Production support services and performance agreement
  • Maintenance services and equipment retrofit.
  • Maintenance outsourcing
  • Relocation services for equipment and production lines
  • Shutdown services
Requirements:
  • Masters/ bachelors degree in Pulp and Paper Engineering or equivalent.
  • Process design, production line operation and maintenance experience in pulp mill (and power plant).
  • More than 5 years managerial role experience with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Excellent customer service background.
  • Fluent English, solid presentation skills.
  • People management and influencing skills, especially experiences in a multicultural / matrixed organization.
  • Desire and ability to travel frequently in Asia Pacific and globally if needed.
