Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Palm Responsible Sourcing Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the responsible and sustainable sourcing of palm-related products within our organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement and maintain ethical and environmentally friendly practices in our palm sourcing activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a responsible sourcing strategy for palm-related products.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainable and responsible palm sourcing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with palm suppliers to ensure compliance with responsible sourcing standards.
• Conduct regular assessments of supplier practices and work towards continuous improvement in sustainability and social responsibility.
• Identify and assess potential risks related to palm sourcing, including environmental, social, and ethical considerations.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified issues.
• Implement and enforce responsible sourcing policies and procedures throughout the supply chain.
• Evaluate, prepare, and maintain materials for audits, self-certifications, spot-checks, internal compliance assessments, self-reports, mitigation plans and evidence documentation
• Review evidence attesting to compliance with Standards and provide guidance to relevant colleagues.
• Provide guidance to internal teams and suppliers on compliance with responsible sourcing standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and sustainability, to integrate responsible sourcing principles into daily operations.
• Conduct training sessions for relevant stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of responsible palm sourcing practices.
• Maintain accurate records of palm sourcing activities and ensure transparency in reporting.
• Prepare regular reports on the progress and impact of responsible sourcing initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to palm sourcing.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to address non-compliance issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs to increase employee awareness and understanding of sustainability practices.

Your Profile

• Bachelors degree from International Business, Business Administration, Agriculture, environment/ Sustainability and any related studies; having a Masters would be a plus.
• Proven experience in responsible sourcing or sustainability roles, with specific knowledge of palm-related products preferred (5 years in-job related experiences)
• Familiarity with industry certifications and standards related to responsible palm sourcing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
• Have strong result and services orientation
• Proficient using Microsoft Office program.
• Have good teamwork skills, Flexibility and autonomous
• Have excellent communication skills both in English & Bahasa, any other languages would be a plus
