Job Description We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead the implementation and management of our software development and deployment infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in automating processes, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our software systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for software applications used in electric motorbike manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to streamline development workflows, automate build processes, and improve code quality.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
  • Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying and scaling microservices.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of software applications.
  • Establish and enforce security best practices for infrastructure, code repositories, and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, evaluate technologies, and architect solutions that meet business needs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development methodologies.
    • Provide support and technical guidance to development teams on DevOps best practices, tools, and processes.
WHO YOU ARE
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including provisioning and managing infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
