Finance Manager (Garment Industry) - Based in Semarang

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Present financial performance to senior management and provide insights for decision-making.

Cost Control and Optimization:

• Monitor manufacturing costs and analyze variances to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accurate stock levels.

Cash Flow Management:

• Manage cash flow, including receivables, payables, and working capital.
• Optimize cash management processes and maintain sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
• Implement internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Prior experience in the garment industry or manufacturing sector strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and financial software for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Solid understanding of garment manufacturing processes, cost structures, and supply chain management principles.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws relevant to the garment industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
