Senior Sales Manager, AirAsia Indonesia

Reports to: Head of Commercial

Objective:

As a Senior Sales Manager at AirAsia Indonesia, your primary objective is to lead the Sales & Distribution organization towards achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Seat Sold, #Active Agents, and other related metrics.

You will be responsible for developing relationships with existing Travel Agents, acquiring new Agents distribution and reach to ensure AirAsia is available within the reach of potential customers, developing Sales Strategies, continuously reviewing the previous trade/customer program, monitoring budgets, and building a winning culture within the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Sales & Distribution strategy to achieve the agreed KPIs.
  • Identify and develop relationships with new and existing Travel Agents.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial to identify new opportunities for business growth and revenue generation.
  • Monitor the budget for the Sales & Distribution department and ensure that spending is in line with the budget.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the previous trade/customer program and re-apply the successful ones.
  • Ensure that the sales team is motivated and incentivized to achieve their targets.
  • Work with other departments to ensure that AirAsias products and services are promoted to customers in the most effective way possible.
  • Continuously develop and refine the Sales & Distribution strategy to stay ahead of the competition.

Key Targets:

  • Achieve agreed KPIs such as Seat Sold, #Active Agents, and other related metrics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Travel Agents to ensure AirAsia is available within the reach of potential customers.
  • Increase revenue generation by identifying new opportunities for business growth.
