Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with our team to upgrade legacy code from jQuery to React and shape the future direction of our social networking platform.
  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and responsive web applications.
  • Work closely with back end and database developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
  • Debug code, resolve cross-browser issues, and contribute to problem-solving efforts.


Essential Skills


  • Minimum of 3 years of web development experience with a strong passion for programming.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, Ajax, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap).
  • Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility, code debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Good English communication skills, spoken and written.


Desirable Skills


  • Experience with Java and mySQL
  • Experience with React, Bootstrap, or other JavaScript frameworks.
  • Knowledge of integrating 3rd party APIs (e.g., Facebook Open Graph, Google Maps, YouTube).
  • Previous experience working with HTML email and addressing multiple platform issues.
