Job Descriptions :
  • Manages and oversees the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
  • Monitors and reports each project phase details to Construction Manager, daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Acts as the primary Point of Contact for the Construction Supervision of the project.
  • Assesses soil investigation with inputs from ENDV to see the appropriateness of the project site.
  • Prepares periodic reports and assessments for each project phase.
  • Performs Quality Control and design modifications on site.
  • Monitors construction progress against the schedule, and implements steps to avoid delay.
  • Performs field quality control observations and assessments.
  • Holds meetings with site workers and subcontractors on behalf of the Construction Manager.
  • Inspects and assesses the quality of materials used in the construction.
  • Calculates the quantity of materials, supplies and equipment needed for each task.
  • Oversees the activities of field staffs to ensure efficacy of work procedures.
  • Ensures compliance to project specifications.
  • Ensures that all construction activities are being carried out in accordance to the predefined safety rules.
  • Ensures availability of resources and materials at all times.
  • Provides recommendations for repair works and ensures that deadlines are met according to the schedule.
  • Performs continuous evaluation on construction progress trends and ensures that preventive measures are managed at each stage of the project.
  • Ensures that survey maps, drawings and specifications are available prior to the commencement of construction work.
  • Identifies construction constraints, in order to create a work plan and carry out measures to counter these constraints.
  • Provides technical advice to field staffs to ensure that construction procedures are carried out properly.
Requirements :
  • Minimum working experience of 8 years
  • Minimum education level of Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Willing to placed at project site (full time with no roster system)
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Good communication skill in English
  • Good Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Power Point), and Microsoft Project Skills
  • Good project management and construction management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skill
