Job Description About the Role As a DevOps Engineer in the Development/Engineering Department, the role includes streamlining and automating development processes, managing infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and facilitating collaboration between the development and operations teams. You will also develop and implement systems that are optimized for scalability, reliability, and performance. This includes establishing CI/CD pipelines, creating, and maintaining automated build systems, deploying and monitoring services, managing environments, ensuring the security of the system infrastructure, and troubleshooting issues across the tech stack.
Your Responsibilities will Include:
  • Collaborate to help Design, build and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, and monitoring.
  • Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
  • Establish a clean and efficient environment to development, test, and production environment.
  • Collaborate to write, implement and maintain test suites covering the full range of code functionality.
  • Diligently document all aspects of work related domain.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of coding and scripting.
  • Experience with systems and IT operations.
  • Deep understanding of the principles of CI/CD.
  • Knowledge in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services and deployment models.
  • Expertise in system security measures and data backup/recovery.
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience in software development and system administration.
  • Understanding of popular DevOps tools like Git, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Puppet.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Javascript.
  • Familiarity with Linux or Unix system administration.
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and explain technical concepts.
