Your Role:

What Youll Be Doing:

• Build and manage a highly scalable, reliable and cost effective application infrastructure at 99 Group, forming the backbone of our diverse distributed systems.

• 
  Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams across multiple geographies.

• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans of our applications and infrastructure.

• Share your knowledge and expertise to strengthen teams knowledge of the platform so they can support themselves.

• Regularly refactor your work to maintain high-quality design and architecture following industry best practices.

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps,Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer or related fields with proficiency in an programming language (e.g. Java, Golang, Python, etc).

• Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot issues in a large-scale infrastructure.

• Self-motivated and deep sense of ownership.

• Comfortable within the command line (CLI).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean).

• Hands-on experience leveraging containerization including Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform.

• Exposure to service mesh & and proxy technologies (such as Envoy), is a plus.

• A love for debugging, optimizing code, and automating routine tasks.
